Hold the cream... I'd love to...

Okay, is it me, or are newly-minted White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel (pictured above on the right) and his brother Ari (left) pretty much the embodiment of a certain type of yummy?

Ari, a talent agent in Los Angeles and the representative for Martin Scorsese, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Reese Witherspoon, Larry David, Michael Moore, Jude Law, Matt Damon, Vin Diesel, and Mark Wahlberg
, was apparently the inspiration for Jeremy Piven's character on Entourage. Rahm is active in triathlons, which is a welcome change from the odd Democratic image of tubby Bill Clinton jogging with his Secret Service detail. (One imagines that there might have been a donut at the end of tha jogging trail... Mr. Emanuel clearly doesn't need such motivation.)

So the Obama folks aren't just bringing the funk. They're bringing the hawt. Yes we can, honey. Yes we can.

And who's you're friend, Mr. Phelps?

So I was watching TV on Sunday evening and saw a clip from the U.S. Olympic Team trials. This clip was from the men's swimming division, featuring perennial favorite Michael Phelps. Granted, Phelps has an amazingly fat-free body and seriously good abs. However... the video on this day featured his friend and rival, Ryan Lochte. With the media circus surrounding Phelps, it's easy to miss the people standing around him or coming in a close second behind him. This time, the camera was a little more inquisitive.

Well hello, Ryan Lochte.

Ryan is actually an awesome swimmer in his own right. He and Phelps both broke the world record for the event in which they competed this past weekend, with Phelps' time being slightly better.

This will be an interesting Olympics.
