Here we see Chicago Bears defensive pick Jarron Gilbert (above) and UFC fighter BJ Penn (below) jumping out of a 3-foot swimming pool onto the pavement. I'm told this is a sign of strength and athleticism. Has anyone else tried it?

One thing that struck me... the party at which the UFC fighter jumped out of the pool seems to be attended by men only. That's not unusual for me, but in the decidedly "I'm not gay" world of the UFC, it does appear to be a bit of a sausage fest.

Always nice to carry a spare.

Andrew Zollner, the University of Illinois track and field star who is nationally-ranked in the pole vault, must have been a boy scout at some point in his life. I can't think of a better way to "be prepared" (the Boy Scout motto) at a meet than to carry an extra pole in your shorts.
