David Bromstad is featured this week as one of the hotter new faces on cable TV. He's not exactly brand new, as he's been the host of HGTV's Color Splash home redecorating show for the last year and a half or so. Before that, he was a contestant on HGTV's Design Star, winning a car and a chance to host his own HGTV show.
He's 35, from small-town Minnesota, and now lives in Miami. He's openly gay (any cursory look at his speech patterns pretty much gives him away... I love it when the sissy gets buff and wins the contest). He also has a super cute little French bulldog, pictured above. I love French bulldogs.
Reason he's hot #1: Isn't it obvious? The bod. Not too much, not too little... just right. He's like the porridge that Goldilocks chose.
Reason he's hot #2: The ink. I love tattoos, and his only seem to accentuate his very nicely developed chest and shoulders.
Reason he's hot #3: The Minnesota connection. Most of the Minnesota guys I know are very nice, brought up well, and have a dirty streak that smacks of some mildly repressed Lutheranism. Nice combo.
